I would use only one card of dedicated anti-tank helo here. helos are very vulnerable to aa or anti-helo helos and once you have bought a few the enemy will beef up his helo defenses and your helos will lose their value quite quickly. they're really cheap fire support vehicles that can deal with infantry at range and helicopters if they can ambush them at close range. If you have points left, you could pick the zsu-57-2 or pgz-63 here. if you want to use an atgm vehicle, use the zdf-89. if you want to use a atgm vehicle, pick missile quality over quantity and look for medium optics. the missile will also often lose tracking due to line of sight. imho only the ptz-89 is really good here, you can remove any other cards for activation points.Ītgm vehicles are usually not worth it, since the missile flies too slow and the intended target often spots your atgm vehicles and kills it in one shot before the missile hits. they're great in combination with the type 59-I, one does spot and the other one goes for the kill. You should pick at least one card of ztq-62-1. The chinese mi-1 does the same as the mi-2 but comes 5pts cheaper. use one in the sx250 and one in the zzc-55. it's the best infantry card for red dragons. Red dragon has quite a bunch of tanks that are somwhat good, but have some kind of drawback. it has enormous firepower for that low price. it's your heaviest tank and the only tank in the chonma-ho series that's actually decent. if you're running 2 cards of mortars, you can upvet them as well. Upvet everything in the support tab except the mortar. Napalm mlrs is terrible and you shouldn't use it.Įither use koksan for sniping, tokchon 152mm for aoe or just go with two mortars. it's way more powerful and you need anything you can get against planes. range matters and 3 dmg can't down a mi-24 even with 3 hits. you should upvet the fagot and get a card of tanke-shashou'85 in zsc-63c. in order to make space for them, kick the li jian'90, since you don't need two cards of helo inf and li jian are way more niche. upvet the guys in the expensive transports. get two cards of zanshi'85 (one in zsd-90, one in zsd-63c) and two of bochongsu (one in hwasung-chong, one in btr-50). since you don't get shock infantry, you need to make do with more regulars. the goal of a mech deck is to overrun the enemy with superior infantry, preferably a combination of upvetted regulars and shocks in cost-effective transports. Remove the jeep cv for activation points. imho you should rather play reddragon unspec and upvet a bunch of infantry units. it's a ldeck with a lot of drawbacks and pretty much the only advantage is a good helo defense. unlike most other mech decks, it also doesn't get a tank in the 100-120pt department, its medium tanks are at best okay-ish and it really struggles to deal with superheavy tanks. ![]() ![]() it doesn't have shocks or good anti-tank infantry and it's lacking in the anti-air department. Imho red dragon mech is a really weak deck. ![]()
